Realtors, UGH!

Warning: GRIPING AHEAD. So we got a call today from centralized showing service. Cool we have a showing tonight, b/t 530 & 630pm. Dinnertime, but oh well, if it sells it would be worth it right! Well after cleaning all afternoon and getting the kids all packed up, where to go? Not wanting to impose on anyone at dinnertime I took the kids to Costco for dinner. Upon getting into the car to come home we hear Tornado sirens going off. The radio is alerting, Carter is going crazy b/c he is scared. Meanwhile Evan is listening to the radio beginning to freak out b/c all they are saying is that Brownsburg residents need to take cover in the basement. (side note: almost every home in Colorado is built on a basement) Evan kindly points out that we don't have a basement. I assured him that daddy was home preparing the coat closet (our tornado shelter, he was clearing it out and stocking it w/ pillows and blankets). Once the excitement of the tornado warning was over we realized the Realtor and her clients never came! UGH! They could have atleast called to cancel!

Annual Boys Night Out!

This truck was plwong through a perfectly good Motorhome. Destruction is always a crowd pleaser!
My favorite was Superman!

I love having boys! I get the best of both worlds. I can tag along w/ the boys when I want and I also have the excuse that I'm a girl when I want. We enjoy taking the kids each year to the Monster Jam Monster Truck Show. This was the last year that it will be held in the RCA Dome. Later this year the new Lucas Oil Stadium will be completed and the RCA Dome will be torn down. The boys are hoping that the Monster Jam comes to Denver.
Crowd favorite, Gravedigger. You cannot even imagine how insane these trucks get. They usually don't stop until they roll over.
Carter invited his friend Michael. They are sportin their trusty earplugs.

All in a Dream

Carter woke up this morning, "Where's my mustang mom?" I explained to him it was in storage for the winter, thinking he meant his power wheel. "No Mom. Remember the remote control one Dad gave me last night." Everything to Carter was "last night". Matt is out of town, so I know it wasn't really "last night". As Carter went on to explain he knew it all ocurred in a dream. But being 4, he doesn't understand that dreams are pretend. Needless to say he was perturbed. I wonder how long I will have to hear about this? When Evan was 4 the first dream we remember him telling us about was flying to China on a magic carpet w/ his Dad. But not his Matt Dad? We've yet to figure out who the Dad was that flew him to China. Every since then Evan is soo into anything Chinese. He loves Chinese food, books, chinese culture, language. He writes the chinese characters, he will visit China someday I'm sure.

We're 11 months old!

Today we turned 11 months. We have been practicing going up & down the stairs over the past couple of weeks. I figured they needed to know this skill in case they get away from me and decide to scale them on their own. Plus, they are getting too stinkin heavy to carry at the same time.

The Laundry Lady is Fired!

She has been a No Show! I can easily do 2 loads of clothes a day! How pathetic is that? You may find this humurous, When I told Matt we were pregnant w/ twins, one of his first comments was, "Wow, we need a bigger car!". My reaction was, "We need a laundry lady". We got the bigger car, but no laundry lady! I am the official laundry lady, FULL TIME, w/ no pay. Seriously, a college degree to volunteer in the wash room.
